If you’re a meat eater, Chicken Cordon Bleu is pretty much a little slice of utopia. With crispy chicken stuffed with good ham and gruyere, each slice is a bit of meaty and cheesy heaven.
But, we asked ourselves the question, “What if we were having people over for cocktails and we wanted to serve this classic delight? How would we do it? Slice the chicken into little swirly slices? Make little mini chicken cordon bleu roll-ups?”
We pondered. And we pondered.
And then it dawned on us.
Chicken Cordon Bleu Bites!
They’re simple to make (one could even say slightly simpler than making it with a pocket sliced into the full chicken breast with meat and cheese scrunched in there), because they’re just little layered pieces of meat and cheese!
Boo yeah.
And then we decided to really gild the lily by making a delicate gruyere cheese sauce to drizzle over the stacks of flavor.
If you ask us? All is officially right in the world.
Now round up your ingredients, grab your F.N. Sharp utility knife, get that cutting board ready and let’s make some chicken cordon bleu bites – on a stick 😆

The knife arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Not only is the knife well balance and very sharp, it is also beautiful. I'll be getting all my knives at F.N. Sharp in the future!
