When you're looking for old school deliciousness with a seemingly modern feel, look no further than chicken piccata – the classic dish of dredged and pan-fried juicy chicken topped with an incredible lemon cream sauce. Oh, and did we mention that there are capers, too?

Yes, there are capers in that there chicken dish!

In case you've never had capers before, what they are is pickled flower buds.

Now, you might be all like, “Whoa, Nellie! That doesn’t sound incredibly delicious!”

But, they are. They taste like little pickles for your pasta! And in case you’re thinking, “Well, I never really felt the need for pickles in my pasta,” well, let us assure you that, yes, yes, you do need pickles for your pasta!

However, these aren’t your typical pickles. They’re briny and savory with a kiss of citrus that makes them irresistible.

See what we mean? Capers rock!

Then they’re tossed with a wonderfully and mindbogglingly amount of lemon, and finished with parsley.

If you want to go crazy, you could have them on pasta, or if you really want to go crazy you could have them on mashed potatoes. Both options adore the lemony cream sauce and perfectly round out the meal.

So, round up your ingredients, get that cutting board ready, grab your favorite F.N. Sharp Utility Knife or Chef’s Knife, and let's get chopping!
